Feeling Sluggish?

All that holiday knitting is done. Your stash was reduced significantly in 2010. Time for something special just for you?

Then I’ve got the perfect project: Jessica’s Sluggish Mittens. They are really cute, a little challenging, and the perfect excuse to buy your first yarn of 2011.

Finished mittens knit with Madelinetosh Pashmina in the colorways Fig and Antler.

A few of us Purl Jam knitters got to test knit this stranded project, which is available for $5. This is the second design from Jessica, and here is the story of how the mittens came to be. Warning: the project can be addictive, which is good because you’ll want to get them done while it is still cold out.

Congratulations to Jessica, as of this writing her pattern has been “favorited” 270 times on Ravelry.

– Reported by Janice who didn’t do holiday knitting, at best kept her stash at a consistent level, and is pretty much always ready to knit for herself.
