Have you seen the new knitting and crochet magazine, Knitting Today!? The second ever issue, January/February 2011, is on newsstands now.
It’s called the Love issue and we Purl Jammers do indeed love it, because it includes an article on San Francisco. Not only that, but there’s a handknit sock photo of the San Francisco one-sock-a-month Ravelry group Splash of Color knit-along (KAL)!

For the Splash of Color KAL, we chose between two patterns: Swedish Fish by Spilly Jane Knits (knit by Purl Jammers Janice, Elizabeth, Marissa and Tracey) and Transition Socks by Kerin Dimeler available from Shibui Knits (knit by Purl Jammer Kate).
Marissa has the most famous feet of all because she made two pairs of stranded colorwork socks! She also knit up the Butterfly Socks by Coriander. In fact, Marissa is such a sock fanatic that she even made a mini-pair for her daughter:
-Reported by Tracey, who founded the San Francisco one-sock-a-month group and tricked her Purl Jam friends into joining.
