Happy Halloween!

I admit that halloween ranks among my most favorite and cherished holidays. Every year I look forward to carving a pumpkin, munching on freshly toasted pumpkin seeds, and seeing my friends’ creative handcrafted costumes.

Just in time for the festivities this weekend, I made a spook-tacular hat using a hand dyed and hand spun skein of halloween art yarn from Janice. She sewed on black spiders through out the skein, which look awesome crawling all over the hat! Another Purl Jammer Tracey donated the black yarn to create the stripes, so it was truly a group effort.

Janice hand dyed and spun this fabulous skein of yarn.

Completed just in time for halloween!

Hope y’all have a fantastic halloween! What are you knitting for the holiday?
