Notes from the Field: WWSIP Day

World Wide Spin in Public Day (WWSIP) was this weekend, and the owners of LYS Urban Fauna Studio Jamie and Blas organized a small meet-up in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Sunday. Undeterred by the heavy fog, some 10-15 spinners braved the elements and brought their out wheels and drop spindles to share good company and tell the public about how yarn is made.
